Arkansas officials condemn anti-gay comments on Facebook - CNN.com

...Midland School District Vice President Clint McCance wrote on his personal Facebook page that he wanted gay people to commit suicide, according to The Advocate, a newspaper focusing on gay news. McCance used the terms "queer" and "fag" repeatedly, promised to disown his own children if they were gay, and stated that he enjoys "the fact that [gay people] often give each other AIDS and die."


...Because McCance is an elected official, the department cannot deal with him directly, according to the statement. But staff will be monitoring schools to provide a quick response in case students are bullied because of McCance's comments, it said.

It's really sad enough to see people being bullied all over because of their lifestyles, beliefs, or whatever that makes them so called different, but for a person whose job is school related there is no excuse for that kind of behavior.

There's a ton to say about this. The fact that he's an elected official who promotes suicide with a sway over children is RIDICULOUS. The fact that the school board is anticipating fall-out within the schools over his hate-mongering, in fact are position people to help guard kids who could possibly be affected by this and he HASN'T lost his job is downright astounding. ( Holy Run On Sentence, Batman! ) Third, the fact that he would disown his children if they were gay, would promote them to commit suicide.. it's just disgusting. How did he get a license to breed, in the first place, more or less run for office. >.<!
