One Week Left: How many of you have already voted or indeed planning to vote at all on 11/2?

I'm voting on Tuesday. I'd early vote, but then you don't get an "I Voted" sticker and I keep those on my printer. Don't know why, but I have since I turned 18.

I refuse to stand in a line for hours to vote here, so my husband and I do absentee every year. Did that weeks ago.

We get these stickers when voting early!

So hubby went and voted yesterday, came back home with a pompous air, rather self congratulatory attitude as in I am so cool, I voted. Kids and I ask so where is your 'I voted' sticker ? The guy deflates like air out of a balloon. I took pity and said some ladies on my coupon board mentioned that you only get a sticker if you vote Election day.

So our 9 and 7 year old girls engage in making a 'I voted" sticker for dad and of course it is adorned by Pink flying unicorns, some orange pumpkins and nestled somewhere in between all that art is an American flag.

What can I say, I love this time of year; the cooling temperature, the wind chasing leaves on the sidewalks, the harvest wreathes outside folks' home, the little goblins and the princesses that dart through the neighborhoods and of course the most civic of occasion that come every two years.

My plans for Tuesday
1.Make a trip to the local food bank to drop off food supplies.
2.Vote.
3.Turn on the T.V. and watch Congress be recycled!!!

Voting on Tuesday with both kids in tow. Gotta show them off to all the old people I know who run it!
