Panda is still very much missed. As much as it's snowed she would have had a ball. Maggie, our Aussie, still really misses your baby.

I still stand by my words about the driver. My road is a very high traffic road where many many people drive way to fast. I see people getting pulled over a lot, but not enough, from speeding and this was another one of those speeding times. The speed of the drivers make it very dangerous for people and people are always walking on the sidewalks and across the road.

I did contact the police and ask for more of a presence to slow the drivers down, especially when they run the bus stop sign. The police have been around a lot more and the drivers have slowed down.

As I said before, I do not blame the driver for hitting my dog. She got out of the fense and got into the road. I never want any driver to endanger their lives when an animal runs out into the road. I do, however, blame the driver for their action after they hit my dog. We do not live in a bad neighborhood or the rough side of the town. We have people knocking on the door all the time asking for gas or to use the phone. Heck a few weeks ago we were out of town and some lady walked around our yard looking for scrap metal to buy from us so yes this person could have stopped and been safe especially considering it was daytime and people were outside in their yards.

I hope everyone has had a good winter so far and has been safe and warm. Lords know we are freezing our bums off in TN (moved a few months ago for work) considering we've had 7 snow storms to hit middle TN since the beginning of Dec.
