When someone can show me all the other ways she has cut back in her spending....then it won't bother me.

I have googled and googled and so far have found no other way she is cutting back in expenses...other than taking away the party for the staff.

I think the servants to the queen are an extraordinary individualized example that I wouldn't put exactly that expectation on most employee's.

And as via my title...I didn't say it should be illegal I said they were jipped. And I think it's silly to put the servants in the same "you should be thankful you have a job" crap...the queen doesn't even dress herself folk....It's not even a remote possibility that she's going to get rid of her servants.

But a servant that does 34323435353 different things for you at your every beck and call...every whim...show some freaking respect for them...and don't cancel the party they get every couple of years. You can find some way that actually personally impacts you...to cut back.

And since the UK basically agree's with me...I have no reason to think that I am wrong.

This money doesn't come from the taxpayers...but from the Queen's personal money. So of ALL the things she could of cut back on "like all of her children's extremely ridiculous spending habits" she cuts the party for her staff.

Yep, Lizzy's got over $700,000,000 in the bank. You would think she could spare a measly $50k for the people that work for her, considering she lives off the taxpayers....It's my understanding that she and Philip are tight with a pound anyway. I once read that was one of Fergie and Diana's biggest complaints about living in Buckingham palace. They weren't allowed any bulb over 40 watts in any room in the palace, they hated that it was so dreary.

Having someone dress you is just creepy. Holding your coat, fixing your hair...maybe help you out with the odd zipper or bracelet. Anything more I can do myself, thank you.

They weren't allowed to, every bulb in the palace had to be 40 watt because that's the way Lizzy wanted it. No one window in the palace can be brighter than another when viewed from the street, that's why they couldn't change it...crazy chit, that's why I'm glad no one notices what I wear, what wattage my bulbs are. I wouldn't trade anonymity for all the money or fame in the world.

We are speaking of one of the wealthiest people in the world...who is that wealthy....not because of her work, not because of her entrepreneurship, not because she went and got a decade and a 1/2 of university schooling. She's that wealthy...cause SHE WAS BORN.


Why is she entitled to any money.....oh that's right cause she was born.

Why is she entitled to having servants dress her...cause she was born.

Why is she entitled to having ridiculous amounts of jewels and lavish gowns....cause she was born.

Why is she entitled to having subjects not allowed to complain about her legally, why is she allowed to order that no guests EVER touch her, and other nonsense rules...cause she was born.

Seriously how much does this woman get paid every year...and please explain to me what does she actually do to EARN IT. She doesn't even rule the country any longer.

Me thinks we have the wrong person who has entitlement issues.


If this woman was remotely conscious of how the "real world" thinks...she could of least seen that her people were really going to be annoyed that she canceled the party....and could of attempted to get donations for the food and wine...which I would assume is what the biggest costs are. I would bet my Butt that companies would be ecstatic to be able to offer there product so that the servants and maids could have there one day they get every couple of years.

lol- don't be born into wealth (as if it were a choice) because being wealthy instantly makes you wrong!!!
