Swagbucks.... Mobile Phone Verification ???

I went to redeem for a $5 Amazon giftcard on swagbucks and I got a message saying that I was randomly selected for mobile phone verification (like they were gonna text me a code to enter I guess) but when I entered my mobile number, it said "This entry is not valid. This is not a mobile number." YES it was. It was my real cell phone number, which is a verizon wireless cell phone. It's not a trac phone or anything like that. I emailed customer service so hopefully I hear back soon. I can't redeem any points (I don't even think I can do survey or anything) until I get this cleared up.

Has anyone else had to do this mobile phone verification w/ swagbucks before? I understand that it's to help protect against people making more than 1 account. But I don't understand why it won't acceot my phone number

I don’t understand why they would need your cell phone number. I don’t remember having a cell phone being a requirement for a Swagbuck account.

I just heard on another site when asking about FB going down...that Swagbucks might have also been hacked???

Well today swagbucks isn't working at all for me. When I type in the swagbucks site address, my browser just says "done" but nothing is there. When I try to use my swagbucks toolbar to search it just loads forever and nothing comes up.

SB has been down off and on this afternoon. That could be why OP is having issues. When it comes back up I would suggest you start surfing cuz I got 50 SB's last night on one seach and another 10 today from another site.
