So was anyone else affected by this morning's Twitter Hack?

I heard that some people got viruses.... I wasn't affected even tho I was using the site. I guess I'm lucky.

My friend's husband infected his work computer, however.

Basically someone figured out how to exploit a javascript bug, and merely mousing over a link would cause a new page to open. Some people got worms.

So what should we do. I might get on my twitter account once every other month or so.....are they going to go in and fix things so this worm can't get through?

They supposedly fixed it yesterday. But if you're worried you can use an application (like tweetdeck or Twitter for iPhone) since those weren't affected.

I probably would have ended up with it but I saw about the bug when I used it on my ipod. Thank goodness!
