Annoyed!

Yeah it was nice at first until i realized she doesnt even follow proper coupon etiquette ya know. i dont wanna be known as one that does that because we shop together and she doesnt use coupons properly. hers are always a mess and she can never find the ones she needs so sometimes i will give her a few of mine. Then sometimes she never uses them! It s like uh ya i soo wouldnt have given them to you if you were just gonna not use them because i will use them!
I did plan out a cvs and walgreens trip for her once i dunno if she actually used these or not but im not doing it again. Id rather be friendless again and not deal with anything else other then my family and my families needs. Trying to be nice sometimes doesnt get ya too far when the other person doesnt do the same in return. If i were to ask someone for something from their stockpile wich i would never do but if i did if i asked for a thing i would take just one of that thing because that is what i asked for and id offer them a couple of bucks as well. Becuase im a nice person like that and i dont use friends!
I feel its so much harder to make friends as an adult lol. Theres no highschool etc so meh Im not sure how to do it lol. She did give one of my kittens a home at least! I even gave her 10 bags of the free kitten chow! What i have left when i go visit my sister is coming with me because she is taking my other kitten. Now i wish i only gave her a coupole bags of the kitten chow. I dont ever recall hearing a thank you from her either!
She also now has changed her tune about my hubby. He yelled at the kids for running around screaming and got her son upset. Shes like your husbands a douchebag. I was like i know., but he had a right to yell at all 4 of the kids about screaming and riling the dogs up. Im gonna start being "busy" alot more these days! She will make plans to hang out then text me and tell me she is with another friend for moral support. Then ask if i wanna meet her up there and basically sit around with her all day with her other friend that i dont even know at a freakin courthouse. I left though. I wouldnt make plans with someone ifi had plans with someone else and then nto tell them till they are driving to your house! Or say im coming over and 2 hrs later you finally show up! Im just like soo over people in real life lol. I need all my old friends to move to nc and hang out with me lol.

i have a good friend i take free stuff to all the time. the stuff i dont use but she will. one time in a bag i accidently left a new bottle the dawn pump. i got it with a free coupon and really wanted to try it out. a week went by and i was at her house and saw it by her sink. i asked if that was in the bag that i brought her and she said "yes it was thanks". i was ticked because she knew what i was bringing her and thought it would of been nice if she would of asked if that was to be in her bag. so now i really watch my bags that i take to her.

next time she asks, i would tell her either no that you are using them for christmas presents or go and get her one yourself. i dont let too many people near my stockpile except for my younger sister. she is the only one i would give whatever in there too.

I have a similar problem. I cannot say no. I have learned to accompany the person I am giving an item to because left alone stuff disappears. My son asked for toothpaste. So once he saw what all I had, then he suddenly needed several other items, including razors and shaving cream for his girl friend. I have tried several times to show others including my mom and step mom how to coupon. They have the same coupons I have in the newspaper. I have had to explain over and over that I do not get everything for free, sometimes it is just cheap or at the least I have to pay sales tax and use rr's or ecbs for the purchase. Now I say all of it is for gift bags for Christmas and birthdays. I pick and choose who I give to. My husband used to turn our sons loose in my coupon stuff and has turned friends loose as well. People will take all but one of your most expensive items and see nothing wrong with it , since 'YOU GOT IT FOR FREE". Learn to say no. Keep items out of sight. Remind husband that items are for gift bags....

Not to make you feel bad......your post just makes me all the more thankful for my buddy who introduced me to TRUE couponing and remains my bestest couponing buddy in the world!!!!!

My hubby always says....."Take advantage of me once, shame on you. Take advantage of me again, shame on me." So true! Protect yourself (and your family's stockpile) and prevent it from happening again! I agree with everyone on here!

Def plan on doing that! Otherwise my stockpile will dwindle. This site is what helped me to learn to true coupon! Funny thing she left a comment about hanging out today on my page and i learned that her boyfriend dumped her yesterday but she said nothing regaurding the razor comment i left on her page.......hmm. Never again.

I say nothing to his dad because his dad has a mouth and a smart atitude that i dont feel like hearing! One weekend i was like realy sick prob had the flu and was doing my laundry and his dad had dropped his off before that. I did his laundry and stuff but didnt fold it cuz i felt like total crud and he picked it up and i told him i was sick cuz he asked why didnt fold it then hes like bull$%^& basically calling me a liar. I really really really hate my father in law. Luckily he never seems to have the gas to come over here much anymore thank goodness! And since our washer broke over a month ago he stopped bringing his laundry by. We have a working washer now but thank goodness he doesnt bring his nasty clothes by.

If you don't set boundaries......people are going to walk all over you. Believe it or not, but people treat you the way you allow them to treat you.

There would need to be a darned good reason for me to do laundry for my inlaws or stepchild.......sure they can bring it over and if I'm not doing laundry, use the machines.......if I'm in a good mood I'll even leave out a bottle of laundry detergent.......if I'm not, then I hope they brought their own.

my husband acts like his dad does soo much for us. He did the first 6 mths we lived in this state when we moved back here. But weve been here a year and half now and it seems to go the other way around. there is even a collection agency calling my house phone for his dad!

Oh and ive said whats on my mind plenty of times to his dad! He gets mad but i said you dont like it then get out of MY house. needless to say he had nothing to say. Now he hand washes his own clothes at home.
