Morning Sickness - A Conspiracy

I am convinced the term "Morning Sickness" is a total conspiracy.

Because if 'they' called it what it really is, "Your gonna feel like &#$% all the time," no one would have children.

So in an effort to keep the Earth populated, they lie to us unsuspecting women and tell us we "may experience some minor tummy upset."

(Obviously I am joking. And very tired of constant nausea)

I hated that part of pregnancy. others laughed at me. Suprisingly after that first ones born and your raising them you decide on another and forget all about how crappy you felt that last time in the beginning! Def morning noon and night sickness and when your asleep or awake or walking , talking in the car sickness. I do not miss those days though thats for sure! Hopefully it doesnt last too long for ya!

I told my husband the same thing! Lol I was so sick with number 1, but when we started thinking about number 2, I wasn't thinking about this part.

your just like aaah another baby! Lets do this. then ya get the lines then a couple weeks later your like oh man i forgot about this part!

mine got worse with each baby.

The best thing I found to help...was to not take a prenatal with Iron until about the 5th month. Your typically not anemic during the first part of your pregnancy...and that dang iron is so hard on your tummy.

The other thing I would do was eat a lot...small meals...with my first pregnancy...I even had to get up every few hours at night to eat.

I dunno...I was sick right up until the day I had her. It's been four years and I haven't forgot! Just about the only thing I could keep down was Haggen Daz chocolate peanut butter ice cream, the cold eased my nausea....I only gained 10lbs and she weighed 8.9 so that should tell you how sick I was LOL!

When my mom was pregnant with me and carpooling to work one day she had to throw up. Well she was in the middle of the back seat in traffic, so she puked in her purse. Just thought I'd share that with y'all.

Ugh morning sickness.. I hope you can get past that part quickly!!!

When I was pg with ds#2 for a few weeks, I threw up everytime I brushed my teeth. I'd brush and the tiniest minuscule of toothpaste in the back of my throat gagged me to the point of throwing up..... so I'd have to brush my teeth again, only to gag and throw up again..... what a vicious circle that was!!

I had pretty bad morning sickness with all of mine and it lasted longer each time. With my last child, 9 years ago, my doctor put me on Zofran which helped A LOT. She had also taken it during her last pregnancy.
