Us too. Home Depot does the same thing. DH used to work there and Home Depot is is home away from home. So he is always looking for those deals. We just got a half pallet of potting soil for $1.00 a bag!

And in all seriousness, if we can't brag about shelf clearing on hcw, where can we?:shrug7:

I mean, I do post the occasional 'haul pic' on facebook, but I have only a handful of couponing friends on there. The others really don't get it.

I belong to another chat board for Greater Swiss Mtn Dogs,a nd another for families affected by dup15q..........but I think if I posted a pic of the 40 Yoplait yogurts I got today for $6, they might think I'm weird.

Oh, and seeing as I stockpile and am mod for the stockpiling forum, you betcha I shelf clear.

Bottom line is--
It doesn't matter if I buy 1 item or 1000.
It doesn't matter if I pay with cash, coupons, RRs, ECBs, catalinas, food stamps or sand.
It doesn't matter if I sell it, eat it, give it to charity or set it on fire in my back yard.
It doesn't matter if it's the first, middle or last day of the sale.

If the store doesn't say "reserves right to limit quantities" then I am able to get as many as I want and as they allow. Whether or not anyone feels it's right or wrong. This is not meant to come across as harsh, seriously. It's just a matter of "all's fair in love & couponing." I've changed my perspective on this over the years, and it was a mod on here who said "It's not my responsibility to make sure that there is merchandise there for the next customer." And it's true--it's not, it's the store's responsibility.

As PPs have said-ask your store to order for you, ask for rain checks or get there earlier. And remember there's always another deal around the corner.
