The Electric Company has me ticked off!
OKay below is the body of the email that sent over to the electric company. Tell me what you think. (I know it's lengthy...sorry)
Below is a series of emails that has been sent to Sonia Evans in regards to the TXU Business account that our business currently has. My husband was wrongfully advised that a deposit was needed when service was switched over to his business. We were given options about how the deposit can be handled and one was to purchase a surety bond. The bond was originally mailed by the insurance agency and TXU stated that they never received it. He spoke with someone on April 13th and that rep requested that it be faxed over. I faxed it over at 7:44am and it shows that it was successful at 7:47am. That afternoon he stated that the store lights were disconnected. I contacted TXU and spoke with Latoya who then stated that she will reconnect the electricity to give it a couple of more days. My husband went a picked up a certified copy of the surety bond from the insurance agent and sent registered mail to TXU. We thought it would be received by now. However, we received a bill with the deposit of $600 and the disconnect/reconnect fee of $73.84. Monday night we contacted TXU and spoke a rep named Tremaine and she requested that I fax it again to her attention and that was done at 7:24PM received successfully at 7:41PM. I contacted TXU Tuesday morning starting at 8am and spoke with a multitude of reps that were not very knowledgeable about the process and how to get the situation resolved. No of which would give me the number to corporate and stated that are not given that number. After speaking with all those representatives I got in contact with Betty. Betty later advised me that after the credit department ran the application again they discovered he should have never had a deposit from the beginning. She stated that the deposit will be removed. I asked her and you about the disconnect/reconnect fee and was advised that it will be removed as well. Now that brings us to the $225 we paid for a Surety Bond that was never needed from the start. We are requesting that the $225 be credited to this TXU business account or some type of reimbursement. I began to speak with Sonia Evans on the 12th of May in regards to the situation. She was advised on the entire situation and on the conversation with Betty about how we should have never been charged for the surety bond from the beginning. She stated that she will handle it. Today I spoke with Sonia and she stated that we will not be reimbursed the money for the surety bond. I told her that we went out and purchased something on the word of TXU stating that it was necessary. I recapped the information that I provided to her and stated that if she would respond to the emails there would be no confusion on how things will be handled and what was said. She advised me that she can not communicate with me by email. I then stated why so you can be held to what you say. She stated yes. I asked for your email address and she then advised me to get it for the website. I have been a TXU customer for over 11 years and I will NOT be treated in a manner that is unprofessional and rude. I have plans on contacting the new station if this situation is not resolved by Monday morning, May 24th. This has dragged on too long and someone needs to make the right choice to do what's right by customers.

Re: The Electric Company has me ticked off!
I might even go so far as put a literaly time line.
8 am (and date) I spoke with such and such
1 pm (and date) I spoke with such and such
ect..
First paragraph put the background.
Second put a time line.
3rd put in a paragraph what is not being resolved.
4th write what you want to happen.
*question, so you sent this bond...do they have the bond????
If they do...are they now planning on keeping it as a deposit?? It is unclear as to what they are planning on doing with the money.
