need some help..housing eviction problems

I've never heard of being evicted w/o being taken to court. I'm sorry you're going through this but feel there *may* be more to this story than what is being told.

She can just choose to leave without going to court. Lot's of people do that. In Florida a Landlord is only required to give you three business days to vacate the property.Without benefit of a court appearance,but the notice is also served by the sheriff.So that if you're not out by the three days, the sheriff comes back out and chucks your stuff on the lawn.
Sounds like she's being given the 30 days to vacate under NH law. If she chooses not to move out, then she can go to court and ask for an extension...but once a LL wants you out, you're out. It just depends how long it takes them to get you out. Each states laws regulating eviction are different.

I have a girlfriend in NH that's being evicted as well,her Landlord stopped paying the mortgage and she received a letter to vacate from the bank...no court for her.

OP you posted back in November 09 about your landlord complaining about your messy house, now I swear I am not trying to stalk you or anything like that, but you have had 1/2 a year to either clean the place up or move out. This is not a new issue, you should have taken action when the issue first came up.

My place is clean and has been clean. It sorta feels like she's coming down harder on me becuase of my disability and I cant do everything like get the tiniest crumbon the floor all the way in the back behind the couch. There are people here where you can smell urine when you past there door and some have so much stuff in their place where you cant see the floor and now people are leaving their trash out in the hallways, and im the worst tenant in our building I guess. Im just so happy that i wont have anyone looking down on me and making me feel like crap..I got enough of that from my ex and dont need anymore.

Sorry OP, but i did read your old OP from back months ago...
Something ELSE has to be going on that your not telling us. Being "evicted" because of a crumb? if that WERE true, you would have already been on the phone with SOMEONE out there rather a lawyer or something.


I don't think the manager is trying to make you feel like crap, rather then show you how your suppose to treat property and be responsible. Have you taken pictures? Why not take pictures and post them here and get reactions from all these posters?

I am a property manager, and i know in Ohio there is ALOT of laws when it comes to tenants rights. I can't go evict someone because of a crumb.
