Well, the percentage was 98%, not 100%, so yeah, it's entirely possible that yours went up.

However, the majority of Americans saw a decrease.

    Further,

"Tax freedom Day" came on April 9 this year. (Tax Freedom Day - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia)

In 2008 it was April 16
In 2007 it was April 24
In 2006 it was April 24
In 2005 it was April 21
In 2004 it was April 15
    In 2003it was April 14
In 2002 it was April 17
In 2001 it was April 27
In 2000 it was May 1

Make sure you give Obama all the credit for you having to pay less taxes this year!

Well, I'm sure that if someone made less money, and paid the same amt of taxes as the prior year...

    they'd complain.

    Some people are never happy....

The Daily Show was kinda talking about this last night. Showing how Fox News went on and on about how most middle class don't pay taxes (which I'm still confused then what the tea party is complaining about), but didn't mention that Exxon Mobile is going to pay ZERO in taxes. You see then that squishes the myth about the poor poor billionaires having to pay huge amounts of taxes while people who live paycheck to paycheck are freeloaders lol.
when disagreement was expressed that president’s actions when y’all were in power I believe the response was “why do you hate America?” “Watch what you say” “Take it or leave it”…. Pace your rage

The Tea Party is complaining about all the taxes it's GOING to take to finance the government's spending spree.

The Tea Party is complaining about all the taxes that the dems are lining up on everything from your light bulbs to the screw holding your washing machine together.

The Tea Party is well aware of the fact that ALL taxes aren't on the income one takes home on Fridays. There's still a gazillion other taxes one must pay the other 6 days of the week.

I had a little decrease in taxes this by about $100. year but still paying double digits in taxes per year. However some of my surrounding towns went up and are still going up. I saw some seniors voice their concerns at the last school budget meeting.

Our taxes went down...basically same situation as Wealthbarney. But last year wasn't that peachy either.

We have a Tea Party Rally tomorrow at 4:30 in our little town. They are paying $$ for the best signs and costumes...you know I'm gonna have my camera out...when I drive by.

    I'd go hang with them...and get a real good view...but it's my daughter's birthday.
