The Grossest Thing!

My MIL is severely disabled. She can hardly walk, her arms shake constantly, and her balance is not good. Ergo, she can't clean her house. FIL tries to do what he can after work and on Saturdays, but its a big house. A few weeks ago I noticed a funk in the bathroom and thought one of the nephews missed the toliet and peed on the floor. When we went back last night, the funk was still in the bathroom, but way worse. I had DH distract his parents so I could clean it on the sly. (MIL is very proud and very stubburn. She will not admit that anything is wrong with her.) I was looking through some drawers in the bathroom hoping to find cleaner. I found a drawer full of USED feminie hygeine products! My crazy SIL from out of town had been to visit at the beginning of March and had clearly been on her cycle while here! She just left it in the bottom drawer! I snuck out of the bathroom, grabbed a bunch of grocery sacks, double wrapped my hand, and threw the grossies in the other bag, tied it off as quick as I could, then snuck outside to throw it away! I then washed my hands twice and used hand sanitizer just in case. I told DH later what was causing the smell. He almost threw up.

How gross is that?! Who just leaves that stuff in a drawer somewhere????

I would definately have DH talk to SIL about things like that. I'd have a FIT if one of my kin did that at my moms house.

Oh my goodness....I have NEVER heard of anyone doing something like that. I've seen nasty women leave them on the floor of a public bathroom before.....but in a drawer at your mother (or MIL's) house??!! GROSS!

My dad and his fiancee used to rent out their garage apartment, and one of their druggie tenants (upon eviction), smeared ick all over the walls and left used grossies all over the floor!

If that were my Sis or SIL I'd be having a huge talk right about now w/ her. It's bad enough that she left them in a drawer (EWWWW) , but to do it at someone else's house is just.... there are no words..... Especially because it is HER mother's house.... Good for you though for taking the time and going through the trouble of cleaning up her nastiness. At least you and DH care!!!

omg, I'd kick her so hard her junk would fall out...she would never have use for another feminine product.....that is truly the nastiest thing I have ever heard! You're so kind to look after that for them,the smell was probably making them crazy.

I am like, literally gagging just thinking about the stench...I...oh my, I just don't know...or understand....
