Went to return 2 packs of gum that I purchased yesterday, wrong amount was charged (part of the $1/2 deal). Got to the register and the assistant manager was looking at the receipt (had 2 toothpaste and magazine on there, used 3 RRs). Assistant manager said I didn't pay for the gum because I got it for free from RR, she said I paid for half of the magazine with my $2 OOP money.

I don't agree with how she decided that this attached to this, if I make any sense. If she had said- because you used this RR, it does not work with xyz so you had to pay OOP. Ok fine, understand now thanks. But everything is free with RRs, all you paid for was half a magazine.... huh?? Sorry wanted to vent.
