23,000 now expected to lose jobs after shuttle retirement | floridatoday.com | FLORIDA TODAY
This is a tragedy that we can't allow to happen. It doesn't matter that we don't have the money to keep paying these people. We can't let people lose their jobs! We must find a way around that whole "money is finite" reality and do whatever it takes to keep these people on the job so they can keep paying their 30%-40% in taxes.
Sarcasm aside--money is finite. Spending cuts are going to have to be made. There are no good options left.

Well, I'm not in Florida, but my job is in jeopardy because of the decision to cancel human space flight from NASA. Thank you Mr. Obama. But, whatever, I will survive.
But, getting back to the debt crisis. I see one looming. Gov't can't continue to borrow, either from the state or federal level. Eventually the people with the money aren't going to want to give them money anymore. It could be right around the corner. Did you see where Hilary was warning out the amount of debt we have? I thought that was interesting.
Oops... sorry - you exceeded the limit of my attention span!
Bye Mom... I love you, and will miss ya. 4/5/11
