I'm not saying they shouldn't learn about this. Just saying be careful acting out things like this over an entire school day. Particularly where you're engaging children in the role of picking on/ratting out others. I do role playing scenarios as a disaster planner all the time too. I've seen more than one where people (grown professional adults that know we don't really have an oil spill or an earthquake going on) get carried away and nearly come to blows.

IMO the very same experiment would yield completely different results if it would take place in more authoritative countries, where people brought up having less freedoms and rights.

But overall, we can value what we have here in US only in comparison with other places. Or after we'd lose it.
