Trust me. The fatty parts still hurt.

I was just going by *my* experience (I have 8 tattoo's). Everyones threshold of pain is different.................. The guy is sick to permanently scar/mark that baby girl, pain or no pain, regardless of where he put it. Wasn't there someone else in the news for tattooing a 7 year old not long ago? Or did I imagine that? This ole world just isn't the same any more. :-(

I hope and pray that this little girl isn't scarred for life because of this. I also hope that DSS steps in to see who is taking care of this child. I personally have no piercings or tats but that's my choice. Little girls are cute with pierced ears but I'm not a big fan of it but that's the parent's choice.

I totally agree w/ warcraftbaby. No one should be modified without consent.because they're the one that has to live with it, it's as simple as that. Besides, everyone that's inked has *their* story to tell behind it. Mine is ...this one time , when I was 21 ...me and some of my friend's got Tats in a bar 'cause we were jack*ss' and bored. This poor kid gets..this one time..when I was 1...some jack*ss tattooed me 'cause he was bored....not the same.

Speaking as the mother of 3 year old daughter, horrified doesn't describe my reaction to this. I can not imagine the fury I would visit upon this person. I may have been young and dumb, but it was my choice to risk exposure to bloodborne illness. This child and her parents had no choice and that's the difference between infant piercings and circumcision....they're done in a hospital or Dr's office. Not that a clinical setting preludes infection risk, far from it. It must still be more sanitary than some dumb*ss' house....and yes the fatty bits hurt!
