I just envy some of you having multiple store... I wanted some of those Scalpicin wipes and my store here in BFE NEVER got any. So sad!
I stopped by on Saturday 2/6 for a return with no receipt. I then got some joint juice, bayer meter, lip balm, and got all my RR. I did this about 11am. One thing i did notice was that the RR printed but had not printing on the back so IDK what they are doing over at that store. If you were there 2/6 check your RR to see if the back is blank. The Store manager and Assistant store manager did my returns and had no problems with me not having a receipt and they were both present when i paid and recieved my RR. No problem then and also they said that i did good on my transactions. This is by the way the first time ive been there since I was in the Clay/Gessner area and went to Kroger down the street.

1. Flying under the radar is good. There's something to be said for finesse. Not that couponing and rolling RR is "bad", but there's a lot to be said for giving others a chance to get the deals, too.
2. Contact the local or state chamber of commerce and file a false advertising complaint. If their ad says "Buy blank and receive $X in Register Rewards, then they have to honor it.
The RR catalina coupons will often say something about not being used on the same product, which covers them as far as not being able to roll a RR into itself, but the rest of it is a pile of smelly garbage.
Until Walgreens releases a corporate coupon and RR policy, we have no recourse, other than to take our business elsewhere. JMO. I go to the good stores when the nice cashiers are working. I don't clear shelves unless it's 9:45 PM on Saturday and the store is closing in 15 minutes and I really, really need the product. I noticed a cashier taking in the lesson I was giving to someone as we checked out, and asked if she wanted some coupons to do the same deal. She said yes, and I gave them to her. I hope she joins the ranks of people doing legitimate deals.
:pickupsoapboxandgohome: All done now.![]()
There's 2 workers there that would tell my SIL how good she did really nice people, I know one of them(when I used to go) would read every coupon I handed him and he would just smile and tell me how good I did. I'm glad that they were nice to you, I guess it depends who you are because the one girl that got so mad/laughed at me for wanting to get the Garnier for free, every time I walked in there she would look at me like I did something wrong to her evil looks. But she was actually nice to my SIL the few times she rang her up. I would try to avoid her line and check out at cosmetics but that day she was the only one there .
Understandable.
what I do not understand is when people say they pre-ordered 200 meters (to be paid with MQs and these are MMs of courser!)and got them while many stores have no stocks on the first day of sale??? how is that not a form of shelf clearing when there are no available stocks to distribute to other stores since one store hogged 200 meters to sell to just one person?
please help me understand :shrug7:
I think this is more misunderstanding. There is something else going on here when a store isn't getting stock other than the warehouse being out. Using the meters as an example, my stores had stock the entire month they were free after coupon and mm with rr. There were loads of people saying just this- oh, the warehouse is out because people hogged them all up by pre-ordering. I don't think this is true for the plain and simple fact my stores were being restocked the whole time. So is it a district/regional thing? I don't know. I don't know enough about how the ordering works, but I don't think it's fair to jump all over someone's case for pre-ordering items they want to buy.
Sometimes it sucks to miss out on a deal, but I generally am under the opinion of "early bird gets the worm". (and I do miss out on a lot of deals b/c I can't run to the store every day)
My $.02, as always.

I agree---and I have never had a SM order me anything. A few weeks ago one of the AM offered to special ordr anything I wanted---she said she wanted to be sure to have adequate stock so people would not get irritated by empty shelves. I thanked her but told her that I did not want to do that as I felt that ordering x amount of product is taking that product from someone somewhere. As the PP stated, my stores also had the Contour and Breeze 2 all month long. It was rare that I went and there wasn't at least one in the stores. Over the month I got 14 of them. I got 3-4 a week, always one at a time, in different stores so as to not clear any shelves.
As for 30 transactions at once, I did 16 in a row this past Sunday at 8 am and the cashier was fine with it. I had my qs all organized and ready to go so it was quick and smooth. Twice people came up and after I finished that transaction I went to the back of the line. The cashier said to me "oh, it's okay, you can keep checking out. " I told her no thanks, I hate to make people wait and if I were behind someone doing multiple transactions I would likely get really irked!
At the 3 stores that I got to multiple times a week, I know all of the SMs and the AMs as well as 99% of the cashiers. I tell them I am doing multiple transactions, am organized when I get up there and they always tell me how nice it is to check out someone who is ready and understands all the restrictions with the RR. I give qs to the cashiers too and that helps them to not get frustrated with other couponers who are just starting out or are not familiar with Wags excessive rules/restrictions.
Always happy to find a deal!!
In my town, there is a lovely HCW member who teaches a legit couponing course.
They have unique binders that are all the same.
Awhile ago, I got in line behind one of these couponers at Walgreens who were openly talking about how to "beat" the system.
Shelf-clearing, trying to use coupons improperly.
I know they weren't taught this.
She took 2.5 hrs to check out and received $295 in RR's.
Now that is excessive, and could be the reasons the Walgreen's in Tri-cities
are making new rules weekly.
Since last June, I am likely to get one product only with RR's in the 4 stores we have.
