on your insurance policy there is two types of medical benefits. Liability, and med pay. Liability medical payments are just what they sound like, the "liable" party pays the bills of the other party.
however medpay is regardless of fault, if you have it on your policy (and you should so add it if you don't :)) you're policy will pay in this situation. most insurance companies have a seperate claims dept for these types of claims b/c they're so easy. liability doesn't have to be determined, if there is legit medical bills and you were in an accident the bills get paid.
in general I would recommend an MD to determine that a chiropractic visit is necessary, it's always wise to go to a MD following an accident to check things out anyway.
I would not accept their offer at this point.
