I hate snow!!!!

Honestly... I really do hate it!! It sucks!!!.. sure its pretty as its falling but it is one huge pain in the butt when it comes to digging out... Yesterday we got slammed with almost 2 feet of it!!! Its been years since we got this much at one time... Probably at least 10 years!!1
So I get up this morning to see that no one in my moms household even attempted to go out and start clearing the snow... So I clear the patio off and then the handicapped ramp and then try to start digging my moms car out... well thats when I pulled my back out!! and now my jerkoff brothe and his wife are making fun off me because I hurt my back.... Im sorry but I havent had to shovel snow or clean a car off for over 5 years... THAT IS WHAT MY HUBBY AND THE MAINTANCE GUYS DID!!.. Now that hubby and I are seperated and Im living back at my moms, everyone expects me to just take care of everything...screw that... I think the stupid men in this house should be out there doing it!!! or at least helping!!!

I agree, THEY should be at least helping. Now that you've hurt your back, go in, get a nice cup of hot chocolate (a necessity when finished shoveling snow btw), sit back and let them get off their rumps and do it. I'm sorry you hurt your back. Hopefully it'll get better quickly. A nice warm tub of water couldn't hurt.

Yep, they all should be helping. We have 28 inches, and hubby and DS1 are out there now. I was out there with hubby but accidentally got snow in his face (seriously it was totally an accident) so I had to come in.
I'm now in charge of making hot chocolate.

I agree that they should be helping. On another note I love snow, we got between 18 and 20 inches and it is beautiful. My DS, who is 2, is absolutely having a ball and he couldn't be happier than when he is playing in it. Granted it took us awhile to dig our cars out thanks to the plow at the apartment, but I am still loving this snow.

Your brother and his wife live with our mom and they did nothing to help shovel the snow? That's not right. Next time tell them they need to help or next snowfall tell them it's their turn. Do they have a car or do they use your moms?

they ended up paying their son to do it... I also paid him to dig out mine... I paid him $20 for my car (it was all I had left but well worth it..lol) and they paid him $30 for 3 cars.... I think he from now on mine will be the first to get dug out since I pay the most...lol

What? I never heard of family paying other family members to shovel snow especially since they live if they live in the same house.

it sucks but thats how that family works,,, They dont do anything unless it benifits them!!!... It was either pay someone to do it or leave my car sit until it melted away... and by the looks of the weather forecast, it wasnt going to be melting anytime soon....lol
