I just saw a commercial for the Humane Society, and all those poor animals. I cry everytime. Wish i could do more. I just want to hug and love each of those poor babies :(

Why do people have to be so stupid and cruel?

Some guy was shown hitting a cow with a forklift,

a poor cat who was beat in the face...



it makes me sick. I would seriously hurt someone if they even looked at one of my babies wrong. If i could get ahold of these people... i'd be in jail for life.... I don't have real human kids, but animals are my family. I would take them over humans any day of the week. They are ALWAYS there for you. Regardless how mad you might be at them for oooooooooo peeing on the rug, or eating your dinner, they look at you with them big ole eyes.. and waggin their tail and you just can't be mad at them!


there is a special place in hades for ANYONE who hurts an animal!

I totally agree. Some of the stuff I hear about on yorkietalk.com, another forum I'm on, is terrible. And I hate going in to the dog shelter. It gets me all choked up seeing those guys caged up in such small spaces. :sad:

If I win the lotto, I'm gonna be a dog foster mom.

And if anyone EVER lays a hand on my dogs, it's on.

I have to turn it off, I won't even watch the commercial you are talking about...it's my only protection as I know I don't have the power to stop it any more than I have the power to stop child abuse. Call it finger in ears with the lalas going, or self preservation...

Oh, I hate that commercial! I turn it off or get up & leave the room. HATE IT! I don't think it's helping their cause to be honest. I can't watch it all the way through to get the number & poor Manders can't see the number through her tears. :sad:

I get very upset as well. Animals hold a dear place in my heart. I can't watch those animal cop shows b/c its just too intense to see all the hurt some animals endure. I don't know how ppl can be so cruel, and the laws to prosecute are not tough enough-- they need to buckle down and get hard on those offenders.

Those commercials like that are horrible, and that is what they want to get your attention. One of the commercials use to make my son cry every single time, he was 2 now 3.

I agree animals should not be abused. That is why when we was looking for a pet we decided to get one from the Humane Society.

I cry every time. So I don't watch those commercials anymore. I always say that I like animals better than people and I think there is some truth to that.

I mute the TV, leave the room and I still cry.

That Michelin tire commercial with all the animals stuck to the road gets me upset too.

I always have to turn the channel when that commercial comes on. It makes me so sad. We got both of our dogs from the humane society and they were both abused. I don't understand how anyone can abuse a poor innocent animal:(
