If you have ever done business with The Dish Network then they can ignore the 'don't call list' although I think they have to take you off their list if you request such.

I'd have to agree with you. My mom just started getting calls from one of these obnoxious places and can't figure it out. She subscribes to every catalog in the world though so one of them has to have sold/shared her information. Its pretty hard to stay completely off the radar these days.

They should take you off though, so unless they call back again you should be good.

This^ I had to call my bank and credit card company to opt out because you are automatically opted in to sales calls from their partners when you sign up for accounts with them. Any time you sign up for ANYTHING read the fine print about third party solicitations and all that good jazz. A lot of times you're automatically opted in according to the fine print and very few people notice it.

We start speaking in Spanish and that usually gets them. If they understand Spanish then we say (in English) no comprendo Espanol, lol that really gets them. They say " You just spoke Spanish a minute ago" I get them to hang up on me or I say thank you so much and hang up. One time they called back and said the phone hung up. Yes it did, I hung up on you on Purpose, lol. I hate telemarketers.
