Wh00000a Nelly! I have been using Windows 7 Ultimate for the last 4 months or so, I really don't have issues printing from Smartsource.

What happens when you try? Maybe I can help you fix it...there are a couple work arounds the generally work just fine. You can PM me your issues, or you can PM me and I'll PM you my Yahoo ID and we can try and work it out.

thanks op, will check out media center.

Here is my dislike, I use firefox and if there are let's say 3 windows open, they are all stacked under the firefox icon in the bar at the bottom. I have to put the curser ofer the icon, then the little tiny windows pop up, then I can see which to click on.

Any way for each firefox session to have it's own icon, instead of the stacked effect?

I just got a new laptop with windows 7 and love what I have seen so far. Granted I have only saved a few deal sites and amazon but I intend on sitting down and really getting into it soon. I did notice some sites were not allowing me to print coupons but I just went to my desktop for that.

I am just glad I am not asked 150+ times if I want to do something when I have said yes 149 times. Good Vista and all your hair pulling problems.

Didn't they offer a discounted price for windows 7 if you had out right purchased vista???

Looks like to tape tv shows you need a tv tuner to plug into the usb port, then you must plug something into your satellite tv receiver with a cord? Sounds like a lot of trouble to me? Is this correct?

That's right. I have media center on my desktop with a tv tuner in it. I ordered the computer that way several years ago so I don't know how much the cards cost alone. then you just have to plug the tv signal (whether cable or satellite) into the tuner just like you hook up the tv signal to the back of the tv. I use a splitter and have one connection for the tv and one for the computer.

I love the media center app. I record EVERYthing that we watch, then just play it back on the computer or burn to disk and watch on the dvd player. No more commercials for me!

I didnt even know what windows media center did LOL

All i've used it for it... (can ya guess?) to access HCW to make sure it worked LOL

I hope they fix the printing problem though, i depend on my lap tops to print my q's when i need them. My desktop is a hunk of junk.
