Re: The Employee Meeting Bigsweetie, I get it. I just largely disagree. The stuff that may have had any credibility was very much a "well, duh" moment. Much like the poster who recently revealed some perceived secret sinister plot of Dems trying to get this health care thing passed while they have a chance. Well, duh. Of course they are.
This whole business of stating the obvious while padding it with hyperbolic fluff and then laying claim that it's some major revelation is tiring, frankly, as are the claims that those who disagree are just woefully uninformed or stupid (that's a general observation, not an accusation directed at you). Obviously, there will be consequences to, well, anything. That's a "well, duh" moment. For some, the consequence of financial impact and government meddling is unacceptable. For others, the impact on those without coverage is unacceptable. For me, again, I'm less sympathetic for (perceived or otherwise) loss of money than (perceived or otherwise) loss of life even though I fully do understand what that means on a broader scale and the impact it could have.
