How sad. Too bad you don't have to have common sense to have kids.

Wow, is it so wrong to want to have a pest-free home for your kids?

She supposedly used some fogger before she moved in. I wonder why the landlord didn't take care of that? My heart goes out to the family. I hope they don't suffer any long term effects from the exposure as well.

Well, before and after. When they took her to the hospital, she was covered in pesticide.

I am not going to judge this mother. We don't know for SURE what happened. There just aren't enough details.

BUT... if she was using those foggers with all of them in the house...

I had to use those when my cat got fleas years ago. You are not supposed to stay in the area but set off the bug bombs and leave and not return until after so many hours have passed. There are some not toxic methods that can be used instead. One of my friends used the natural methods rather expose them to the spray. She was always afraid one of them would put something in their mouths that had been sprayed.

This is really sad but if she was using 7 cans I wonder if she might not have been trying to kill herself and the kids and had a last minute change of mind. Either that or she was very poorly informed. When I had the fleas I only had to use one can for my whole apartment. I hope everything turns out okay for her and the other child.

Just my opinion, but from the way it sounds it sounds bad. But, I'm thinking maybe she just didn't check the directions & just didn't think that anything like that could possibly hurt her & her kids? Maybe like you said it was meant to be something 'more' but she backed out; but I'm just not getting that vibe.

Whatever happened is a sad, sad thing. I hope she'll recover & I'm really sorry for the family's loss. I hope her other little boy is okay too.

We did 5 in our house Saturday afternoon and spent the night at MIL/FILs. We came home to clean up. I picked Emily up late Sunday to make sure it was clear. That is very sad and I hope the other child is okay.
