Hah, I have a lock on my mailbox, but my lock gets "mysteriously broken" every few months. And I find weird scratches all over it from some sort of tool. Luckily, whoever is doing this hasn't been able to get in, because if the lock is "broken", it gets really broken and won't open.

And I have to say, when having packages delivered across the border, I definitely prefer USPS over all others (they don't charge crazy duty and fees!).

It's so frustrating when people complain about the po because they have NO IDEA what we deal with on a daily basis. To the postal employee who responded-THANK YOU. More of us need to speak up when "we" are bashed repeatedly by people who accuse us of being incompetent theives. Don't get upset when we speak up and defend ourselves because if you really intended for this thread to be directed at your mailman/station, you would have said so in the title. I work 10 hrs a day for 5 days a week and I take great pride in the work that I do so please don't throw us all together. And yes, I read all the posts but I wanted to make sure all of you (isn't nice to generalize huh?) knew how much some of us USPS workers hate hearing people complain as if you are so important that we are willing to lose our salary for stealing your mail. I make good money and I damn sure don't plan to lose that over your $2 off coupons or $20 money order. Or even that really cute sweater your grandma knitted for you and mailed with lots of love. I don't come here and complain about how people are idiots who don't even know their zipcode. I've had so many people come up to me and ask, "I mailed a letter with the wrong address and didn't have a return address on the envelope. Will it come back to me?"
Or how we are chased down the street by lunatics asking us if they have a package, check, mail etc.
