These same people probably make the same mistakes when sending their emails. Proper etiquette and professionalism are exhibited by those who DO use proper subject titles. It shows you are a thoughtful, educated thinker. It saves time by allowing the reader to know what the subject contains.
Examples of poor subject titles don't tell you what the message is about such as
"A problem"............about what?
"I am so mad"............at what?
"Unbelievable day".........about what?
"Can you believe it?"..........believe what?
"It happened"...........what happened?
"Rants" ..............about what?
"Stupid" ..........what is stupid?
"Whats wrong with people?"...........why?
Proper subject titles get to the point and tell you a clear subject such as
"Wal-Mart refused my coupons that were a few cents over the amount of the item"
"Walgreens kicked me out of the store for trying to buy 2 of an item"
Maybe if the moderator deleted vague, unclear subjects or otherwise moderated this problem, this such would be much more useful. What good is having a subject title field if people don't use it properly?

are the new cash!
I like it when people post titles like that they draw me in and make me want to read them.I like being surprised but for those who don't when you pass your mouse over the title you usually can read what it's about before clicking on it,HTH

TAG!
Yeah, what she said. It's muh-sterious & I LOVE muh-sterious stuff.
If they told me the problem in the title, why would I click the link? I like it when they get you all worked up in the OP & then alllllll the way down at the bottom, they tell ya what happened. Good authors never have more than 2 words in their titles. And if it works for theml...
I'm just really sorry that this upsets you so much.

Websites like this one are virtual stores, communities, or environments. What would the customer experience be like in WAG, RAD, CVS, WMT, etc if the aisles were not clearly labeled and you had no idea where to find the product you needed?
Would you say you like the mystery of not finding what you needed or expected?
I just read the past few days that the purpose of this site was to help people use coupons legitimately. Getting lost in virtual aisles is not helpful.
The headings here are very clearly labelled. And if you're searching for a particular topic, do an advanced search using "entire post" instead of title only.
The way you're describing it, the store is responsible for customers who put things in the wrong place.
And coming at this from a supermod standpoint, I've edited titles in the past for both content as well as punctuation or grammar errors. Guess what? I was being "judgemental" and "intolerant".![]()
