People make me so sick!! How can anyone do this to a child? The child did not ask to be brought into this world. All the child wanted was to be loved. I swear to god if anyone touched my child I guarantee that I would haunt them until the day I dye.

I just cant understand why someone didnt help him, there is no way he could EVER go out and people not see the brusies.

March 1, 2006 - Peter Connelly is born.
November - Mum Tracey Connelly's boyfriend, Steven Barker, moves into her home.
December 11 - Peter is taken to hospital with bruises.

December 19 - Police arrest Connelly on suspicion of assault.
December 22 - Peter is placed on the child protection register.
January 2007 - Peter is returned home.
June - Barker's brother, Jason Owen, moves into the home with a 15-year-old girl.
June 12 - Child minder Ann Walker notices a bleeding sore on Peter's head.
July 30 - Social worker Maria Ward makes a visit. She misses injuries.
July 31 - Police hand reports to prosecutors saying Peter's bruising is suspicious. But it is decided there is not enough evidence.

August 1 - Peter is taken to a clinic. Dr Sabah Al-Zayyat decides she cannot do a check-up as the boy is "miserable and cranky". Peter probably has a broken back.
August 2 - Police tell Connelly she will not be prosecuted. That evening, Peter receives the fatal last blow.
August 3 - A 999 call is made and Peter is found dead.
November 11, 2008 - Owen and Barker are found guilty of causing or allowing the death of a child. Connelly has already pleaded guilty.
November 12 - Children's Secretary Ed Balls orders an urgent review of Haringey children's services.

November 21 - General Medical Council suspends Dr Al-Zayyat.
November 26 - The Sun delivers a petition of more than one million signatures to 10 Downing Street demanding those responsible be fired.
December 1 - Inspectors deliver a damning report. Haringey Council's leader George Meehan and cabinet member for children Liz Santry resign.
December 8 - Sharon Shoesmith, director of children's services, is sacked.
August 11, 2009 - Connelly and Barker named for first time.
