I have come to learn that this is just the way the world works. Last time I posted on this issue is was removed. For whatever reason I have no idea.

Invalid use of coupons drives me CRAZY. I stay on HCW mainly because I just can't stand to see others freely post on other boards about using coupons the incorrect way. This board isn't immune to it. I've been here for about a year and I've seen posts about miss-using coupons. I almost left the board over it once because I was so sick of it.

I've just come to the conclusion it is what it is and I just have to move on. There will always be those who don't use coupons correctly but we can't police them in the stores or online.

i don't know, i felt the newbie influx more about a year ago. I think things have slowed down here where i live. I normally get the deals i want, and wags and cvs have been pretty well stocked the past month. I also have a decent stockpile going now, so i don't search out the deals as much and i don't normally buy so many mulitples of one type of product at a time, unless it's cheap or free or i really need it. I could have gotten a whole bunch of hefty baggies for .25/1 a/c but i already had quite a few in the stockpile that i got for free so i just 2 to fill up my hole on the shelf. I think some people do it more as a fad and also, maybe the stores are catching on and keep more stock, since the couponers have increased over time.

Man, I have noticed a difference!

First of all, I am fortunate enough to live less than a mile from a 24-hour CVS and a 24-hour Walgreens. Yes, I am the crazy one that goes at midnight on Sunday to get my ECB/RR deals. Why? Because they ain't gonna be there in the morning! I used to be able to wait at least until Sunday afternoon to get them, or even Monday. No more. I have also noticed that people will leave little "stashes" of stuff in various places. Like, last Thanksgiving I found a stash of Gatorades, Playtex and other things while shopping. I left them a nice thank-you note. (Just kidding)

Second, I have had to literally search through every newspaper to make sure that the inserts are there. Today I was at a grocery store, and I was buying my paper. I looked through about 6 newspapers until I found one (1) that had all three inserts. Some had none. The cashier looked at me like I was crazy.

At the local Walmart there must be a new unethical couponer about. My sister bought a magazine that had some of the coupons cut out and when I went to pick up a Chicago Trib I noticed that the plastic wrapper that holds the inserts had been ripped open in every paper. On the bright side someone seems to have been leaving lots of coupons next to products that they don't need.
