Well, I don't believe marriage vows allow for me to to that.

We were having "safer" sex. I use it as a lesson for my 12 year old daughter to never believe it when a boy says she won't get pregnant just because birth control is involved.

I think it's time this thread is closed...I know that I'm pretty opinionated and have been vocal in my dislike of what some FSR do with their allotment, but I don't recall ever stooping to such a low level as I've seen on this thread.

I would love to be a SAHM for the record. I love being able to spend all of my time with my DS but I would have to be on welfare to do so. I think it wise to work and not have the goverment foot the bill for my selfish want to stay at home with DS.

Wanting to care for your kids instead of letting others is NOT selfish.
Living wages also used to allow for the husband's salary (or one salary if you must) to provide all the needs of the family. But the cost of living has risen and it's hard for even two income families to survive.

Let's take these numbers into consideration.

-300/month your portion of DC if you chose to "help out"
340. left over Still more than the 158.

I'm sure there's other expenses to factor in. Gas money being one.

Look were beating a dead horse here. You don't wanna work I get that, you just wanna stay home and collect money.. But don't complain how people spend their FS. Your choice is to stay home their choice is to buy chips and soda.

Agree with this. You make the choices that fit your family, let everyone else make the choices that fit theirs.

Wow! Just wow! I'm flabberghasted at the total stupidity in this thread. Noone can judge someone until they've walked a mile in their shoes. It always makes me wonder how terrible their life must be, that they have to tear into someone elses life situations, to make them feel better about their own life.

PERFECT deal to use FS on. Don't think anyone can argue the health benefits of Oatmeal.
