    HOT Kmart: Nasty manager

On Monday I went to the Kmart in Clermont Fl to pick up a few items. I met a friend there who had never really did a kmart doubles. We got there about 8:45 and were enjoying ourselves. I guess the manager got fustrated with another couponer. She came over to borrow my cell when I looked up he was following her yelling at her down the isle. When he got to us he began yelling at us as well. He said we could only use 10 coupons which I would be fine with except on sunday we were told to shop and enjoy. With nothing in the paper and nothing posted how am I suppose to know. He kept refering to us as "you people". Well first don't discriminate because i use coupons. Second he came from the garden dept to the middle of the store yelling and I should have never been involved. I asked nicely to check out what was in my cart and was told no 10 coupons and leave and don't the hell come back. All of this over 17 coupons. The district manager told me he was sorry but the manager has yet to call me so today I called the regional office what should I asked for the resoleve this issue. I have never been so embarassed and I have 3 kids and two are boys lol.

I have a love/hate relationship with Kmart. The doubles draw me in and the CS (or lack of) makes me want to never step foot into the store.

Not sure what to suggests. Just wanted to let you know you did nothing wrong and hope it all works out for you in the end!

I'd ask for a face to face apology, as he personally rings you up. He should get canned.

    HOT Re: Nasty manager

I got into a "discussion" today with a cashier, than a customer service employee, than a manager because I wanted to use two of the same type of coupon on two different items. They tried to pull the "one per purchase" is "one per transaction" thing on me. The manager was soooo....not cool. He read the entire coupon out very loudly...(Maybe so the other 10 people in line behind me can see what an obnoxious person I am daring to use more than one coupon? Or because he can't imagine that someone with a 4-inch binder full of coupons would have ever bothered to read the fine print before?)....He reads exactly, "one per purchase" and then says, "see, says 'one per transaction'." I said, "it says one per purchase."
    "One per transaction"
"you just read 'one per purchase'."
"Well, here it's one per transaction"
"Well, it's not like that at any other Kmart....I'll be going and using these at another store.

Seriously, sometimes you'd think these people are on another planet. He reads it out loud as it is written like 2 times and then repeats it and literally changes the words he just read.

I was very calm and civil towards them
I left my $50+ of merchandise and walked out. And then...dropped my wallet and all my money, cards...everything, went everywhere. It was awesooomme.
I was too mad to go another Kmart. Just didn't have the patience to drive out of the way to find another store. I'll take my business elsewhere, even if I don't get the Catalina Promo I spent too long planning for.

Am I seriously the first person who has tried to use more than one type of the same coupon at once at this store? Highly doubtful! They are not even doing doubles or anything! It was not an IP! What's with the un-friendly coupon attitude!? I don't shop at Kmart much, unless there is a great deal, but, when I have, I've never had a problem like this before today.

Note to Nashville: Would not recommend the Kmart on Donelson Pk if you are planning to use a coupon...or should I say, two coupons.

They're all envious. They want the deals that we're getting, but they threw away those annoying flyers in their paper. They're really mad at themselves, and taking it out on the couponers.

I have not set foot in Kmart in over 3 years. I got so tired of them advertising things that they did not have in stock.

I think it's just a matter of time before Kmart goes out of business anyway.

Kmart would have been out of business long ago if sears hadn't bought it.

    Actually, KMart bought Sears.
You can give a horse a coupon, but you can't make it save.

KMart in FL still doubles??? Holy crap....how in the heck do I find out about when this happens? I figure if Im gonna get treated like a criminal for using coupons they might as well be DOUBLE coupons! lol

Today in Family Dollar, the manager who rang me up told me that I had to choose between using the $1/1 Family Dollar Store Coupon for Dawn Ultra or the .25/1 Manufacturer Coupon because the Manufacturer will not let their product sell for 5 cents per bottle and that's why the computer wouldnt take both coupons.

I smiled and mentioned that I thought it might be another I-D, 10(ten)-T problem at the register....for those of you who might not be familiar (I-D, 10-T stands for IDIOT) lol. Of course I didnt explain that to her but thats what Ive been calling it every time I get another complicated made-up "no we cant do that" policy...

Im just now getting back into couponing after several months...love me anyway as I update and rebuild!
