Worst Summer of My Life!!!!

I just got back online after not having access to a computer for almost 2 months (unless I went to a friends house and used their comp)

So anyways this past summer was the WORST summer of my life!! I am so glad that summer is over and that I can move on from all the crap that happened...

My crapppy summer began on May 30th when my 87 yr old father fell and broke his hip. Because it wasnt a servere break, they kept in the hospital for a few days and then sent him to a rehab center in the beginning of June.. He was to be on complete bedrest until July 1st to give the hip a chance to heal... a few weeks later they did some more xrays and saw the hip was healing so the drs decided to start physical therapy early.... so they start a week earlier than originially planned... wooohooo!! (all good so far),,, then dad got sick with pneumonia again... which they were giving him antibiotics and breathing treatments... he seemed to get slowly get better... The week of July 11th, mom and I were talking to the physical therapist and she said he was doing great in therapy and that he was doing good walking but he was just having a heard time pushing himself up out of the wheelchair... but she figured that he would probably be released to come home the following week. wooohooo!!!.. On the 16th, the drs sent him for a cat scan of his hip just to check everything out.... ok so far so good...WE THINK!!!... Friday the 17th mom get a phone call from the rehab center and the dr wants him back on complete bedrest because now the hip s showing a few more fractures...(oh great) (in between all this therapy he is also going out 3 days a week for dialysis)... so since the pneumonia was coming back again and the dialysis isnt working like it should, mom made the desision to stop all his treatments... that was Friday afternoon.... We went to see him Fri, Sat, Sun...everything seemed fine... Early Monday morning we get a phone call from the rehab center to get there as soon as possible...it was only just a matter of time now.... Dad passed away at 5:15 am July 20th...worst day of my life..

Also, the week before my dad passed, my DH and I decided to seperate (actually today would have marked out 4th anniversary)... I moved back into my moms on July 29th... just 5 days after my dads funeral... DH was a complete jerk that entire week... He completely abandoned me, mentally and emotionally... he wasnt there for me at all... in fact the day my dad passed he went out that night for a few hours to supposedly drive around to listen to a CD in the van...yeah ok..im not stupid.. he was acting shady before my dad passed and he acted even shadier the week of...

I finally got all my stuff moved into my moms on Sept 12th and just got my pc hooked up this past Tuesday... For 6 weeks I was sleeping on a crappy mattress on my moms floor until I could get the money and the help I needed to get my stuff out of the apt... Now to have a HUGE yard sale next weekend to sell alot of our belongning,,,,lol...

I'm sorry that your father passed away. I'm also sorry for what your husband put you through. As hard as it was, it worked out that you could be there with your mom. You two can count on each other.
