Default Walmart moving in on Girl Scout cookie domain??

Found this article this morning. A woman alleges that Walmart is copying Thin Mints and Tagalongs and selling them under their personal label.

I know that if this is true, I would not buy them from Walmart. Don't shop their much anyway, BUT GS cookies are something you wait all year for. And when I get them, I want them to be the real deal!

"But the idea of a global retailing giant intentionally going after the Girl Scout cookie market isn't going to sit well with some of the mothers that are Wal-Mart's core customers."

BINGO...
and I'm pretty sure Keebler isn't the only one.
with something as popular as Girl Scout cookies, knockoffs are a given
Walmart is awfully late to the party, LOL

Keebler OWNS one of the companies that makes girl scout cookies and makes at least 60% of the cookies sold.

I voted maybe, I can't really afford the prices for Girl Scout cookies anymore. But I'm not a huge fan of just eating the Thin Mints or Tagalongs either. If they had the Samoas, then the choice might be more difficult.

As a side note, Dairy Queen now has Thin Mint and Tagalong blizzards and at least Tagalong cakes. I had the Thin Mint on Sunday and it was yummy!
