Bummer. I'm sorry you had that experience. My Publix has me spoiled. That store really is a pleasure to shop and everyone there (except the Poodle mullet lady; everyone knows to beware the Poodle mullet lady) has always been super nice. It's probably the most coupon friendly store I've ever been in.
I did shop another Publix an hour away for the first time a few weeks ago and it was like total culture shock. Not so pleasant. The cashier was clueless and I ended up dealing with a very unpleasant managerial type. They didn't understand the wording on a coupon and instead of trying to figure it out, they just started spouting off one bogus reason after another why it wouldn't work. Boo.
I love my Publix. I think I'm going to write a letter of appreciation for how awesome my store is. It's a couponers paradise as far as being coupon friendly goes. I sure wish they doubled coupons like other stores in GA, though. Sigh.
I wish you resolution. Just a bit of unsolicited and hopefully not inappropriate advice, but I'd break it up into paragraphs since run-on text can be very hard to read, and maybe avoid the name-calling at the bottom even though it is probably totally deserved. Good luck.

It sounds incredibly frustrating. Maybe she's a relation to the CS lady at my Walmart? I understand employees' confusion but there's never a reason for a nasty tone, attitude, or being just plain rude! Unfortunately I think it may get worse, seems like our whole country has got its undies bunched
