Stupid paper office!

The paper office charged my debit card $69.58 instead of $16.80 this month. :sad: A representative called me Tuesday and said that everything had been straitened out and that they would credit the overcharge to my paper account. I told her that I wanted it credited back to my bank account instead, because I need the money. A credit showed up as a pending transaction this morning for $23.83. Someone’s math is really off because my credit should have been $52.78 by my calculations.

If I hadn’t have just moved this month into an apartment where the rent is $70 cheaper a month the rent check would have bounced, and I seriously doubt that they would have been willing to pay the overdraft fees. I really hate it when a place overcharges me and acts like it’s no big deal, and like I’m such a big a** for even bringing to their attention. Maybe if it was only a few cents but $52.00 is more than a week’s worth of groceries. But these places have no problem charging late fees or shutting things off if they feel you’re keeping their money from them.

Call your bank and have them reverse the charge for $69.58, and while you are at it, order a new debit card so they can't charge it again.
