Jobs suck in this area. I know people with degrees in education who can't get babysitting gigs for the summer. So I feel for you. It isn't as bad as other parts of the country, but it is still tough.

I know how you feel about everything not going the way you want. You know, one day I went to a teacher workshop and they made us take a "stress test" where you had to answer all these questions...a divorce; check, a move, check; move to another country, check. It went on and on. Well according to this "test" I should have been dead from the stress! LOL It goes to show that we are strong and resilient and that you will pull through.

Four months ago my dh was laid off, we had just started to seriously shop for a house and I have been waiting for a while to do this and was so happy. This really came as a surprise and I was so mad and resentful (even at God and I am not very religious!) because I had to stop looking. In the end I learned something from it...whether I wanted to or not.

I think life is a cycle; you will get tough times but also good ones. Just be attentive...there might be something to be learned from it all, maybe not. Be angry, be sad, get it out of your system and before you know it, good things will come. Good luck on your job search!
