Why are people so cruel? Who would set a poor animal on fire? Updated with link.

I know pit bulls can be brutal. But here is a puppy that was doused in lighter fluid and set on fire. :sad::sad::sad:

I'm sorry, so sorry for that poor animal. What kind of a horrible person does that?

Horrible isn't even the right word. There isn't a word bad enough for someone who would do that to an animal.

Just makes me want to cry. I'll try to link to the story if I can find it -- it was just now on the news.

That just makes me sick. There are some real sickos in the world that's for sure. He should have the same thing done his you know what.

The person who did this is mentally sick. Any sane person would never do such a thing. It doesn't matter what breed of dog it is, or what the circumstances are- that is just cruel. :sad:
Was there a reason? And was this done by the owners? :shrug7:

Well, the story didn't get much coverage on the news - it was just a blurb pretty much and they said the perp hasn't been caught.

I don't know who did it.

I did, however, see the poor pup with his skin all lathered in some kind of cream and he was sitting down hanging his head. You could tell he wasn't all there, like they'd sedated him. I'm sure it was because of the pain. Can you imagine? His whole little body was covered in cream and they said he is in critical shape.

What is wrong with some people, what makes someone do something like that. I hope they catch who did it.

I'd sure like to take that person and string them up, but I have a feeling that the person who did it wouldn't really even care. They obviously don't care about much of anything.

And if I did, I guess that would make me just as bad as them.

Mostly I'd just like to take the pup and nurse him back and make sure he knows that he NEVER has to go through anything like that again and that people aren't all hateful. Oh, it just makes me so sad.

Oh dear God. That poor little puppy. Hearing something like that makes my emotions go from hate for that person to sorrow for that innocent puppy all in the same split second. I am just sick hearing something like that.

If you can, please come back and update us on how the little pup is doing.

that is just awful, and i hope they find the persons responsible for this.

I pray that dog lives, recovers fully and can learn to trust and love ppl again.
