It's impossible to redeem Wendy's internet coupons!

Wendy's emailed me two coupons for $1.00/1 Twisted Frosty or Frosty-cino. I also printed the BOGO coupons from this forum's coupon database.

However... I can't find a SINGLE location in the greater Houston area that will accept either coupon! I called corporate and they told me all the restaurants in this area are franchises and it's up to the individual franchisees to decide if they want to accept the coupons or not. I told her they should either not offer any coupons at all, or else make ALL Wendy's accept them. The customer shouldn't have to be the one searching for a location that will take them - that's just bad customer relations.

Before I finally called corporate, I went to two locations and ordered full meals for two through the drive-thru. When I learned they wouldn't take a coupon, I told them I no longer wanted my order (which was already made) and drove off.

Hmmm... if enough people did that...



I've since called about 6 locations in different areas of town (that I will be in soon) and can't find anyone who will take any of these coupons. Grrr.

Pizza Hut is the same way, franchised. Ours said they don't take qs, yet they printed out a flier with ONLY their address with qs. Huh? LOL! We did get them to honor their own q finally, but it's pretty ridiculous. Hmm wonder if our Wendy's would honor qs? I might eat there more often :)

It's okay, you're not missing anything. I think their food is horrible and would never pay money to eat there. I don't think I would even eat there if it was free. Look on the bright side, there are much better places to eat that will take your coupons:smile77:

Anyway, our local Wendy's issued coupons for their location last year in a home mailer. I went the day after the home mailer was sent out and the Wendy's was closed down. Now it's a parking lot, lol.

There fries aren't good but they have an amazing Chicken BLT Salad (think that is what it is called.) And their burgers can be quiet tasty (although greasy.)

WHAT!? When I was pregnant with my daughter, last trimester, I think I ate a half-pounder combo with nothing but extra cheese, large sized at least once or twice a week I would kill for some of that greasy goodness right now (and a Moon Pie,) but I'm not wanting to gain mass amounts of weight at this time
