I am fuming. I took my son to get the chicken today and there was a sign in the door of my store saying that they were unable to fulfill the coupon today and that you had to fill out a form and they would mail you a coupon at a later date.

When I asked them if they were going to do it tomorrow or Saturday, they said "NO" - they are not accepting the q's AT ALL after yesterday because all the stores got slammed, people were redeeming more than 1 q (going in the store w/1 q and then the drive-thru with 3 others), that the police were called to some stores, yada yada).

I asked if it was only their store that was not honoring the q and they said ALL stores were not honoring them. We had to hand over our coupon so they could staple it to the form.

Since I have not seen anyone posting that they were told the same thing, I think they might be full of it.

I did ask if they were still honoring the q's for one free piece of chicken and they said "yes" - of course, I didn't have any with me. I wound up taking my son to Wendy's to get him some chicken nuggets.

Has anyone else been denied when they went to redeem their q?

We waited an hour last night to redeem our coupon. They ran out of grilled chicken right before us, and substituted original chicken and they said since it wasn't grilled chicken they didn't need the coupon but we gave it to them anyways since it was free. They only had a few workers working, because several workers walked out, so they were crazy busy but nice about it. Last night they let us redeem them, but I haven't been today to know if they are taking them.

They were taking them through the drive thru also, but the drive thru was crazy busy last night also.

Nope no problem here ,and now I know I can get other sides and specific pieces next time we go to use the other 2 coupons I have .

Our KFC here now has big signs on the doors saying they are only accepting the coupons between 130pm & 430 pm ... I'm only ever in town to use my coupons between 9am & 1130 am! I thought this would be something I could do to kill some time while my son was in pre-K .. I was WRONG & not happy about the gas wasted to go there only to find out I couldn't use my coupon :(

I read that El Polo Loco will accept KFC coupons only on Mother's Day...

KFC's are NOT taking the coupons anymore. My DH tried to use one........it was our very first time using one of these coupon. It was NOT the PDF's that some people were linked to.......mine printed DIRECTLY from bricks.
There is now a rain check program. I found this information after I was looking (on the KFC website) for a phone number to contact them about the restaurant not honoring the coupons. They will NOT honor any of the coupons, you have to mail the coupons in and get a coupon via mail. I'm so STEAMING PO'ed right now because I didn't take anything out for dinner and was actually looking forward to KFC. They wonder why people rush out and use them like crazy.........well look what happens when you wait!
