That just proves money is not equal to smarts.

Alone. On a very hot summer day in south FL. With the windows rolled 3/4 way up. I called 911. I spoke to them through the window and "mommy told us to keep the windows up and the doors locked". WTH! Argh!

That's just...I have no words. That is all.

This thread made me stop and think about how time changes everything. How each generation evolves. I am in no way defending this woman. It just made me think about being brought up in the fifties, and riding in the back of station wagons, the back of pick-up trucks, on older brothers motorcyles, with no helmets, etc. I don't think cars had seat belts and new mothers always brought their babies home in their arms in the front seat. Neither smoking or drinking was frowned upon during pregnancies in the 50's. We learned to ride our bikes w/o helmets or pads.....

Again, I am not defending the woman, we once thought the earth was flat too. Just commenting on how life changes so rapidly, what was common place in one generation is considered so incorrect in the next. It makes me wonder what we are doing now that our children will consider incorrect/horrible for their kids?
I can just imagine..... "When I was born 50 years ago in 2009 we walked around without protective suits! Yep, just in our skin and clothes and the germs could crawl all over us! Our parents did not know any better."

Just one of those things that makes me wonder.
