Well our country is now in debt to China- If you recall not everyone voted for Obama and even though we didn't we still have a right to voice our opinion about how unhappy we are w/ all of this stimulus crap. | Other than the name? Why that name? Why the teabags? Why not call it a big protest against bailouts? :shrug7:
Yeah, there are people who regret voting for Obama. Do you think that is new? How many people do you think regreted voting for Bush? It IS OK to change your mind!
The majority of the people were republican. DUH. Protesting is FINE. I stated before I have nothing against it. If you guys wanted to swarm the gates of the White House and scream agaisnt the bailout, GO FOR IT!
But by comparing yesterday to a very historical and significant even that HAD NO BASIS for comparison, it came across like a bunch of "boo-hoo we didn't get our own way" in disguise.
Next time, have the courage to just say "We hate what the President is using our money for, and we want it to stop!"
Don't insult long dead patriots of this country.

Don't insult long dead patriots of this country. | No, the fact is beth, you disagree with anyone who says they are a conservative, republican, christian, or someone who just merely isn't totally gah-gah with Obama. You could care less about "long dead patriots of this country". Who do you think you are fooling? Don't pretend that it is about insulting them......it is about insulting certain people on this forum.......I myself thought the tea parties were wonderful...wished I could have gone.....but I watched on TV and loved what people were saying and what was on their posters. I think people will take this further and show their frustration at the polls next year and vote some of those cronies out.....I just hate we have to wait on the Big Cronie, . Oh sorry, forgot we still have Obama fans, reading. |

Not true! I agree with quite a few things. ANd the thing about being Christian? Only those that claim to be, yet act NOTHING like it. Remember when we talked about calling yourself a vegetartian and then eating a steak? LOL. You could care less about "long dead patriots of this country". Really? YOu know that? Or are you making snap judgements based on what you ASSUME? Who do you think you are fooling? Don't pretend that it is about insulting them......it is about insulting certain people on this forum....... No, its not at all. In fact, I had this same converstation with one of my best friends yesterday. And guess what? He's a republican. Even he thought they shouldn't be calling themselves "Tea Parties". He honestly felt it discredited the POINT of the protest. He had no problem with the protest itself. I myself thought the tea parties were wonderful somehow I'm not surprised......wished I could have gone.....but I watched on TV and loved what people were saying and what was on their posters. I think people will take this further and show their frustration at the polls next year and vote some of those cronies out I hope so too! There are some that NEED to go! Including MY congressman (whom hold ranking #13 out of 435 in 2008 for pork! Who also showed up at tea party..make sense of that!)_.....I just hate we have to wait on the Big Cronie, . Name calling? Nice! Oh sorry, forgot we still have Obama fans, reading. | I said it before and I will say it again. Protest all you want. Just don't make a mockery of our country's history. Especially if you don't know it.

Do YOU have the secret list??? Please do share! LMAO!
Our Congress is no more "socialist" than the one before them, or before that.
The more people cry "socialism" the less substantial and meaningful it becomes. Like the boy who cried wolf.
