I voted for, if it has a medical benefit that outweighs any negatives, I see no reason no withold it from people.

They just aired this on CNN and it got me seriously thinking about what my position would be. Montel Williams (has MS) was the man speaking for it and Stephen Baldwin against it.
The government has been already growing it and dispensing it for 30 years to certain patients. (Only 5 are still living and in the program)

I think marijuana is safer than most of the drugs the doctors prescribe these days with their unending list of nasty side effects. I would really love to see it legalized-with caution of course- and if anything it will make this world a better place to live. Ok, maybe not better but a LOT happier. That's just my 2 cents. :)
Same as Meems.
I used to be so against it for no particular reason other than "it's bad!" - but after watching a really good documentary on it, and thinking about what if I or a family member needed it, I changed my mind. How is it different than any other drug used to treat pain? Anything can be abused, so why keep this drug from people who could really benefit from it?

I am all for legalizing it. I had the newest form of brain surgery 2 years ago(gamma knife) which is radiation. I have never been sicker in my life. When the cold porcelain rim of the toilet is the only comfort you have had after vomiting for 2 straight days following radiation ~ I'll just say it helped me:) Only time I have ever touched the stuff in my life.

Medical marijuana & "legalizing" marijuana aren't the same IMO, I understand why the raw form will not & should not be legalized..for one, it's too hard to tax since it's so easy to grow, unlike nicotine.
In many ways they have decriminalized MJ...if you have small qtys. you are generally just given a fine. Again..this is a whole different topic than medical MJ IMO. Medical is pretty easy to control, well as easy as prescription pain medication is.
heck yea lets get it on the books. my aunt with chrones could so use some now...
Being a survivor of breast and lung cancer (never smoked a day in my life! till......) I can speak to the benefits of Marijuana.

I'm neither way because there are so many details which could sway me either way. It could be helpful for pain management or it could open up a whole new rash of drug store thefts.
I am for whatever any of the Baldwin's is against.
