Watch the video in the left top corner.
The only thing I disagree with WM's groceries cheaper than Target. It is not here; WM groceries cost the same as the grocery stores.
Does this video make you want to change anything?
No changes for me. I'm already a frugal shopper.

became frugal over a year ago. no changes.
I grew up with my mom buying from yard sales and thrift stops so I have no clue what that way too upbeat guy is talking about. I haven't changed at all. lol I am just wondering why it's taken everyone else this long to see it. lol
I don't see much change here either. I don't have a closet full of shoes and I don't need one. Yes people are spending less on material things but this comes only after the last few decades of people spending to their hearts content. I just think spending will go back to the way it was in the 1980's before everybody had to have all the latest toys and gadgets. I mean seriously, how many malls do we need. You find a strip mall on almost every corner now.. it wasn't that way even a few years back. Some people might actually think about weather or not they actually need what they are buying, instead of just saying charge it!!![]()
Hmmm... no changes here. I live in a rental, drive used (paid for vehicles) am saving and the kids will probably either go to a tech school or the community college....maybe a state school.
This is the way I was raised, so I don't see anything wrong with it. Oh, and I buy mostly used clothes or shop deep discounts.
Let's just say I remember them quite well. I suppose it depends on where you live. Isn't the 80's when the VCR first came out???? Remember those??There were no cell phones or blackberries for this gal. I was to busy buying jumpsuits and boots to go out dancing
The neighborhood I lived in didn't try to keep up with each other at all. I drove down there just last week and it appears they still don't![]()
yeah i remember those VCRs well. goodness. 1000$ who wre they kidding? goodness. and i SOLD cell phones in the 80's those HUGE brick things? yeah. i also remember selling the first flip phones from motorola. and when in illinois you had to PROVE you were 18 to get a pager.
the 80;s were a HUGE spend all the money you can era. for sure
Yeah. I've been a couponer before couponing was cool.
Yes. I buy clothes at the Salvation Army.Actually, the selection is quite nice here at the SA. One person's Abercrombie & Fitch trash is anoher one's treasure.
Sati, I have bad memories of VCRs in the 80's! My friend's family had one and well, let's just say "I WAS JEALOUS"!
Please don't bring the VCR conversation again!
