thanks Carol, my mom has been gone near 20 yrs ..i miss her too! it never goes away..but i think of her often, baby brother is one i did stem cell donation for, it did not keep him with us unfortunately...big hugs to you too!

Seen a clip on the news this morning about a church that brought a camel in for their play. The poor thing fell going down the aisle and ended up hitting the pews (that people were sitting in.)
What were they thinking? Poor animal and poor people. Nobody got hurt but again, WHAT WERE THEY THINKING?

missing my brother.

Feb 18 will be 22 yrs for my brother May is 21 for my Mom and I still have get depressed this time of year.

January 26th for will be 10 years for my Mom, and February 16th will be 10 years for my Dad..it never gets better, my heart will always ache with missing them............

Not a vent, just a little sadness for my best friend and her family who have fallen on some really hard times this year. Her husband lost his job, she is working a part time job, has MS and they have three kids one who is handicapped. No insurance, no job prospects. They lost their house they were renting and are now living in a garage. It's killing me to think of them living this way and have offered to let them come stay with us but they don't have the means to move here and they are keeping up the hope that they will find work soon.

Just when you think you have it bad (and I don't, I know we are blessed) you hear of someone worse off and it puts life in perspective.

This just breaks my heart. We are so blessed. A good job, money in the bank, warm beds to sleep in every night and plenty of food to eat. I hope their situation gets better. Reminds me of a episode of Golden Girls I watched the other night were they win 10,000 off of a lottery ticket that got put in a jacket that Sophia accidentally donated. It got to a homeless shelter where they went to the jacket. In the end they gave the ticket to the shelter because they realized how much they had and how little others have.
