Really hating the St. Pete Times right now!

I live in Sarasota and do not buy my local paper, or even the next town up. I buy the St. Pete Times (2 towns up) because they have better inserts than the Sarasota Herald. They also carry the P&G Brandsaver one where the other 2 do not.

Anyway, I usually buy 4-5 copies per week and 10-12 when P&G comes out. My DH has to go to 3 different locations to buy that many copies (10-12).

Anyhoo - back in October DH went to 3 stores to get 10 copies. Brings them home & there's no inserts at all. None, nada, zero, zip.

I have made 3 telephone calls & have been told it was forwarded to the DM. No one has ever called me back. I initially called the same day because I wanted someone to bring me, mail me, whatever, the 30 inserts (3x10) that I was missing. I called on Monday for the same thing.

I emailed the President and no one emailed me back. I finally emailed a reporter who actually did a story on couponing - and she emailed me back & told me she talked to xxxxxx in circulation and they'd send me 10 vouchers each good for a FREE Sunday paper.

That was right before Thanksgiving. I emailed that person in circulation the 2nd week of December and she emailed stating she had mailed them to me before she went on vacation for Thanksgiving.

I've emailed her 5 additional times telling her I never got them & asked her to verify the address she sent them to and she has never responded to me.

I wish I could quit buying their paper, but alas, it's the only one that carries P&G.

Anyone have any suggestions??

Wow. That is terrible CS. Sorry that this happened to you.

I live in Tampa and always buy the Times as it is only .50 compared to the Tampa Trib at $1. I usually try to check the 1st paper when I buy multiples to ensure that the coupons are still there, but it's hard to always take time to check.
