I havent had a HORRIBLE experience, but have had a time or two when I just left and told them to forget it, lol.
Never had any problems
Had a couple of problems, but nothing too bad
Had quite a few problems, even with managers
Nothing but problems, all the time
I see a lot of complains about bad experience with cashiers, so I was wondering if I was the only one that has never really had a bad cashier. I've been using coupons for a long time, and the worse experience I've had with a cashier, was she rolled her eyes when I gave her a stack of coupons, but other than that they are usually friendly or just don't care.

i have had quite a few bad experiences...even with managers but usually it is because they are inexperienced with coupons\policy and cant fathom any one person getting that much stuff free...LEGALY...or because they are jealous...lol
in fact i had one tonight...after coupons my o.o.p. was .84 she said...ummm hold on a sec and went to get another cashier the other cashier comes over and says no i dont think thats possible either...im thinking oh no here we go as i look at the HUGE line forming
they call a manager she comes over(i know her well) and when they asked how i could that and it would be ok she just laughed and said because shes the coupon queen and walked off boy were their faces red
I hate to push the no problem in fear of jinxing myself but so far so good. *knock on wood*
95% of the time, I go through the lines without a hitch. The only reason that I said I've had a few problems, but not bad ones, is because I've gotten a few uneducated cashiers. Last week, one thought that the "Lindemans" name on the wrapping paper WT meant that I had to buy tha brand of paper. When I eplained that it was the name of the wine who sponsored the WT, she shrugged, and put it through. I still don't think she understood...but I wouldn't call it a problem...just a speed bump.
The only problems I have had so far is I misread the coupon and was suppose to get 2 of the item.
I ahve only had one problem. I had 2 coupons for free bags of Nutro dog food that I used at Big R. The dog food was 11.99, and the manager (after much inspection of the coupons and sighing) said that the coupons said that I could get a free bag, up to $10. I said ok, and paid the $1.99... not bad for Nutro. So, after I got home and read another of the coupons I noticed that it said "free up to $12" So the guy totally lied to me. It was my fault for not reading the coupon, but it sure made me laugh (and kind of made me angry) that he would lie to me over $2. What a loser.
So far so good. There are many people using coupons now, so I think in my neck of the wood's cashier's are use to it now.
I don't have a lot of problems, I did a few days ago, but at that particular store there seems to be 3 or 4 manager wanna beeeessss and think they know it all and have a issue when they are WRONG. I shop mostly at this one chain of stores and the issues I have had have always been at this one store. I don't go there very often but it is second closest to my house and when I think *this should be easy, no big deal* is usually when it happens.

I think the longer you coupon, the more bad experiences you tend to rack up.
Then again, the longer you coupon, the more you shrug those bad experiences off and forget about them.
I've had had my share of bad experiences, but I just learn from them and move on. For those of you who haven't had a nasty cashier yet, your time is coming .
