I haven't even tried to do any of the monthly deals yet. I figure they are all gone and as the poster above me said, I have all month to do them. I got rainchecks for the Complete solution and I wondered about if they would be back in stock 1/1 becuase my $2 qs expired 12/31. Coincidence? I do not think so. Frankly, CVS really frosts me sometimes. Why offer the deals if you cannot honor them???

I was told today by 2 assistant managers at 2 different stores that they keep ordering the throat coolers and they aren't getting any in. They weren't sure if it was a distributor problem or what the hold up was.

I found 2 bottles (the last ones) of the nasal gel but that was after 3 stops.

Hopefully it will get better this week. Giving the benefit of the doubt with holidays and all.

The problem is, as someone else mentioned, they will be out of stock all month. I didn't see a BodiHeat the entire month of December in any of my stores. On January 1 I found empty shelves where the throat coolers and nasogel should be...and 3 of the BodiHeats. In each store.

I don't need or want a raincheck, I need to roll my ECBs now before they expire.

I hear ya. I went on Jan 2nd at noon, and there was nothing but bare shelves where those products originally were.

SAME for me... except I tried three stores. :sad: argh

I don't think that it is CVS, honestly. Maybe it is other couponers doing the exact same thing that you are, especially people who have 5 or 6 cards. When they see 3 Bodiheats December 31st, they swoop down and get them. The other couponer isn't interested in the Bodiheats January 1st, just like you aren't, that's why they are sitting there on the shelf and you see them.

I just got the Bayer Contour monitor today. There was only one on the shelf. When I went two days ago, there wasn't one on the shelf. Who knows how many times they have restocked the Bayer Contour between then and today? Maybe 20, maybe someone restocked it only once, 2 minutes before I came in the door. Now, if someone came 15 minutes after me, they are probably cussing CVS for not stocking enough Bayer Contour monitors.

I always go towards the last half of the month to do my monthly deals (unless I have coupons expiring or something), and I never have any problems. Maybe you all just live in areas with a whole lot of couponers?

I really wonder if some stores don't restock on purpose. The Complete Contact Solution that was FAECB was sold out the entire month of December. Sure enough, Jan 1st and they were back on the shelf. I really don't think that's a coincidence. Rainchecks are an option, but I still have a Bic Soliel Raincheck from Black Friday that they haven't restocked yet.

OH MY GOSH! The extremely nice CVS lady at my store and I were just talking about the Bic Soleil. She said they had to get more stock at the warehouse, whatever that means. I think they're waiting til we lose track of our rainchecks--soon as you lose it guaranteed the stock will be out, LOL

Either the store employees are getting them or possibly i purchased them from your store already lol. You have to remember they only stock so many on a shelf as the shelfs are not deep. And there are plenty of hunters out there. im always the first one in my store and get all the goodies and then off to church to help raise money for our needs.

I agree - it's not CVS fault.
People have multiple cards and get there the 1st of the month to buy it all.

Especially w/ the throat "things" they are a $5 MM w/ the q, of course people are gonna grab them!

I went to 2 different ones today and the first one had probably 7 throat pks left.
I only bought 2. I don't need all 7, even if they are free.
They had lots of the gum but I didn't want/need that either.

They were out of the nasal drip.

The second store was out of everything.

Our store gets one truck in every week, and it's on Friday. When the sale starts on the previous Sat, and the truck comes Friday night, and most things don't get unpacked until Sat or even Sunday, the sale is done by then. Same with monthly deals. It seems as though they don't get enough stock each week. The Promax bars.... The deal was to buy 3 get an ECB and the limit was 5 deals. That's 15 bars. Some weeks, the store wouldn't get any in, and the next week they got in 2 boxes. That's only 12 bars....not even enough for me. When it's something I use, I'll buy my limit. I think corporate needs to start shipping more stock to each store to make sure there's enough for people.
Like most people, my store was out of stock by late morning on Jan. 1. If I don't get the monthly deals on the first day, there's a very good chance that I won't get them before the month is finished.
