For those of you that don't have this franchise in your area, this is a haircutting place designed for kids. They have kid products and even braid etc little girls hair and make hair cutting fun.

Anyway. I just got an email with the following message:

Who the HELL books their 5 year olds birthday party at a haircutting place???????
Actually for that matter, WHO the hell books their party at a haircutting place???????

Is that NOT the equivilant of saying
"Hey Missie, come to my kids party, your kids do really needs a re-do"?

My kindergarten son really doesn't like having his hair cut (and I know he's not the only young child that doesn't), so I don't see how this would be a lot of fun for kids that age! Besides, what exactly would they do after having their hair cut? Makes me wonder...I also can't imagine that eating cake there would be very sanitary! (There's a lot of hair in those places...)

That reminds me of the Bibidy Bobbidy Boutique in walt disney world...they do updo's & sprinkles & crowns, photos are optional, the little ones love it! We SOO would have done it with ours if they had it when they were little!

Now at BBB I could respect and understand a party. We took our 4 yo there this Sept and she LOVED it but come ON, this is a random hair place in Sugar Land TX. There is NO CINDERELLA or Disney Magic there.

personally i think this is a very nifty idea. if they do the haircuts on the super cheap then this is relaly not a bad idea. if they make it fun too? i mean a lot of little girls are just naturally already gettting in to girly things. so if a mom can afford this, why not? i think its a GREAT idea. just not sure its feasible in the current economy

The last birthday party my 6 year attended was a spa party. But it was at the friends house not really a spa, but they had fun.

We have a Snip-its here in NJ and I've seen the special back room where they do the birthday parties and I think it's acute idea. The girls can get there hair styled fancy (I really don't think they cut the hair) and make-up put on and their nails done. I would think little girls would love that.

i would think they would mostly do pretty hair do's for the little girls, not cut it. i think it would be fun for some kids.
