I'm confused. Are we not allowed to post ECB Previews? - Page 2

It's been requested by the majority of the members that we have a uniform look to all the ad previews, as well as it being regularly updated to include the deals like the Walgreens forum. Also keeping the ad threads clean of "thanks and reps" posts with the polls. We have listened and will be posting all the ad previews as requested.

If you are the original poster of an ad preview, you will get credit as you deserve. I will post a link to your post so you can get the reps for the preview.

Since Stratusxp usually provides the high quality ad scans, the second post will be reserved for that. (Or if someone else provides a scan, that post will be the second post.)

If you just posted a copy and paste from another site, I won't have a original post to provide a link to rep you though. The credit is given to the original poster at the other site.

Wow.

Why can't a mod just "EDIT" the original post? Seems THAT would be the logical way to "clean things up" yet maintain the original posters INTEGRITY. Not to mention keep the backend a little cleaner.

I've always felt that HCW was overly censored and "highfalutin" - this is just another example.

Wow! I've never been called highfalutin before. Thanks for your patience and understanding while we work our tails off to make this a better forum for YOU. There must be something you like that keeps you coming back for more.

I think the mods usually do a great job of giving credit where it's due. I guess for me being repped isn't a big whoop, so I don't really get that part, but understand that people want credit for their work. As well they should! I'm sure it will all work out, OP

The problem here is that people want credit/reps for COPYING and PASTING from sites.

If one of our members take the time and effort to type up a preview when they get an early ad, that's wonderful and there will be a link to one of their posts if the original isn't active any longer, so they can get the credit/reps they deserve.

No cracks here... You guys have one of the busiest forums on this site & even though I know a little about modship, I don't have a clue as to what you all go through in the CVS forum & the work involved.

I was just saying that the thing I love most about HCW is the integrity of the site. If others don't like the censorship, there's plenty of sites that will let them do as they please. So, to those I say: HatetoseeyagoBYE!
