Never buy GE appliances!!

We have had the same problem with our GE appliances! Our fridge was so bad that GE replaced it (it was a big lawsuit 2 or 3 years ago against GE) so we still have a GE fridge. Our GE dishwasher went out when it was about 2 years old so we replaced it with a whirpool - no problems now. Our GE washing machine lasted for about 1 1/2 years. Replaced it with a maytag - no problems. We have the same rule in our house - never buy GE appliances. I asked the GE repairman if he has GE appliances in his house. His answer was "no". 'Nuff said in my book!

And I just tried to use the timer on my oven for the first time. Set it to 45 minutes and it went off in 23. What the heck?!?

I too will never buy GE again. New fridge..still under warranty and the condensor/motor went out. Cost more for a new one than a new fridge..they didn't make that particular size/model any longer so upgraded to a bit bigger one and they had it delivered. Just over a year that fridge's motor went out and they had to replace that motor as well. It's not sounding so good again, so just waiting for it to go out yet again. NEVER will buy another one that is for sure!
